How to teach your dog "Chin Down"

Cue word: "Chin" · Hand signal: 🫥 Tap the floor with your palm · Learn first: Down

  1. Ask for a down
  2. Hold the treat on the floor between the paws
  3. Click the moment the chin touches
  4. Hold the chin down for 2 seconds

Common mistake

If it digs for the treat, pull away and try again.

Caution

Keep sessions under 5 minutes. Stop if your dog is tired or uninterested and try again later. Even shorter for puppies and seniors.
