Cue word: "Crawl" · Hand signal: 🐾 Palm on the floor, slide forward · Learn first: Down

  1. Ask for a down
  2. Hold the treat on the floor right at the nose
  3. Click after one crawl step
  4. Build up to three steps

Common mistake

Moving too fast makes the dog stand — go very slowly.

Caution

Keep sessions under 5 minutes. Stop if your dog is tired or uninterested and try again later. Even shorter for puppies and seniors.
