Teach your real dog
- Start with a nose touch
- Put your finger on your cheek
- Click when the nose touches the cheek
- Fade to the cue alone
Common mistake
Do not reward licking — nose tip only.
Caution
Keep sessions under 5 minutes. Stop if your dog is tired or uninterested and try again later. Even shorter for puppies and seniors.
