Teach your real dog
- Ask for Paw
- Pull your hand slightly higher
- Click when the paw moves in the air
- Fade to the cue alone
Common mistake
Pulling your hand too high makes the dog stand.
Caution
Keep sessions under 5 minutes. Stop if your dog is tired or uninterested and try again later. Even shorter for puppies and seniors.
